Strait to the chicken coop!

Last week at our meeting for our Strait Lane project, designer Laura Baggett reviewed plans for the chicken coop with our homeowners. She brought tile samples for the homeowners to choose from, and we're all very excited to see the plans moving forward at a rapid speed.

Since our last meeting, the homeowners have found themselves a beautiful chandelier and matching mantle, which our team will refinish to match the style of the garden property's interior.

We also met with the landscaper, who discussed some exciting changes to the large garden. We're all hoping the weather clears up soon, in order for the landscaper to join in on the fun!

A busy week on Winnwood!

This week has been quite productive at our project on Winnwood Rd! 

With HVAC (air conditioning), electrical outlets, and framing complete, we are looking forward to getting windows installed after Memorial Day. We had many hard-working subcontractors working on the roof every time the sun came out, also...stay tuned for more pictures! 

This unique home is designed by Paul Merrill of 5G Studios, and built by the team at robert hopson construction group.

Once the property is built and landscaped, this is the sky view from the living room on this unique new home!

From one end of the living space to the other, this open floor plan is incredible already!

Just after taking this picture, electrical wires were fully installed on the property.

Robert and our talented architect mapped out the lighting plot using a grid (an a can on spray paint) on the floor.

Robert reviews details with a couple of subcontractors.

At first glance, you might think that this remodel on Strait Lane is a small project. Would you believe that, until December, this beautiful 3.58 acre property was a 11,151 square foot home with a pool and tennis court? With architect Laura Baggett (of domiteaux + baggett architects), our client decided to remove the entire house, leaving only the garage and chicken coup.

With the remaining buildings, our group is transitioning the garage to a beautiful rustic barn, which will overlook a large, private park. We've kept many of the original details, such as the detailed glass ceiling detail and the charming original door.
